Wet n Wild is a big slant toward slides aimed directly at adrenaline junkies. Out of all the Orlando water parks, it has the biggest selection of white-knuckle joint offerings, like the Bomb Bay, Brain Wash, and The Storm.
Aquatica is owned by SeaWorld Orlando and is just down the road and across the street from SeaWorld. You can easily get to both parks via I-4 or International Drive if you’re coming from the Disney area. Aquatica has 250 species of shrubs, grasses and vines. The entire Park contains 3.3 million gallons of water is stored at a temperature of 82 degrees. And private dressing rooms are also available for rent. Dolphin Plunge is one of Aquatica’s most popular attractions. This ride plunges you down a tube, a portion of which is transparent and goes underwater into a lagoon. This is the home of the energetic Commerson’s dolphins. Keep an eye out for these playful black and white creatures as they may zip past you while you’re under water. Aquatica works animals into some of its attractions. You can see cute black and white Commerson’s dolphins from the Dolphin Plunge slide or a viewing window on the lazy river, and colorful macaws greet you on the walkways.

Aquatica is much nicer as it’s much newer and has good slides and attractions like the Roas Rapids fast lazy river. As was mentioned Wet n Wild is older with more concrete and less theming, it does however have a good selection of innovative slides. You’ll definitely see more young kids and young adults by themselves at Wet n Wild when compared to Aquatica. How much is the Wet n Wild pass? Other waterparks you could consider are the two Disney waterparks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, the waterpark annual pass that includes both of these parks is $99, which is a pretty good deal.
