Tahiti vs Bora-Bora

Tahiti
Tahiti is the largest island in the Windwand group of French Polynesia, Southern Pacific Ocean. This island is divided into two part which are Tahiti Nui on the north and Tahiti Iti on the south. Tahiti was formed by volcanic activity, therefore there are a lot of coral reefs live there. Tahiti has the capital city of country named Papeete and their International Airport in the region named Fa’aa Airport. The populations in this island based on census is 183.653 people who are Europeans, Chinese, and those of mixed heritage, but they all mostly talk French and Tahitian. Tahiti Nui is heavily populated along the coast and almost entirely uninhabitated while Tahiti iti has remained isolated and only for traveling boat or foot that can access it. Tahiti was recently known about their achievements in International Football. In short about tourist attractions, Tahiti has so many beautiful resorts with beautiful views of mountain and see too. Bora-Bora
Bora-Bora is a small island in the Leeward group and an overseas collectivity of France in the Pacific Ocean. Like Tahiti, Bora-Bora also surrounded by beautiful lagoon and barrier reef. The distance between this Island and Papeete (the capital city of Tahiti) is around 230 kilometers. In Bora-Bora, there are Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu as extinct volcano in the center of the island. Bora-Bora becomes major international tourist destination because of its famous aqua-centric luxury resort. Bora-Bora’s current economy more driven only by the tourism sector. In recent years, the resort-the resort started construction on some motu (small islands, Tahiti) surrounding a lagoon. About thirty years ago, Hotel Bora-Bora built several over-water the first bungalow in Bora-Bora, which stuck to its foundations in the bottom of the lagoon. Based on some reviews we got, Tahiti is not very interesting because, it’s mostly a gateway to other islands in French Polynesia. In fact, Tahiti is a little seedy in many areas. Most honeymooners go to Bora-Bora. Bora-Bora is great for relaxation, water sports, snorkeling, and scuba diving. And also, Bora-Bora being a little more expensive with some facilities offered than Tahiti. Having experience in Tahiti will be longer because Tahiti is much bigger than Bora-Bora.
