Keystone vs Breckenridge

If you love doing some activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports, you must be in love with your traveling to a ski resort. The process of resort development have progressed since the birth of the skiing industry. For those who live around in United States there are two well-known places for your candidate of ski resorts namely Keystone and Breckenridge. They both offer a very similar experience, are owned by the same company (Vail Resorts), and both cost the same amount to ski at. But, which one is better for your holiday whether alone or in a group of family? Keystone or Breckenridge?

Keystone
Keystone is known as its popular for skiing area. A place which is located in the United States, America has a ski resort called Keystone Ski Resort. This resort is owned and operated by Vail Resorts since 1997 while the precious owner are Max Dercum. It is surrounded by 3 big mountains, there are Dercum Mountain, North Peak, the Outback, and five Bowls. Keystone ski resort has 5 acre resurfaced skating lake, sleigh rides, and several Zagat. Keystone offers special night with skiing, it takes place after sunset until as late as 9 p.m in 15 resort’s trails and lift access for mountain biking with hundreds of miles of single-track mountain biking. You will not only spend some wonderful activities around Keystone in winter, but also another activities are offered differently in summer which will be so much fun to do such as hiking, horseback riding, fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, and mountain biking. Keystone resort is also home to two 18-hole championship golf courses.

Breckenridge
Breckenridge Ski Resort is also taking a place in the western United States, in Colorado, America. The other similarities with Keystone is the same owner Vail Resorts, Inc. Breckenridge is spread out across the five peaks that make up the southern half of the Tenmile Range. Peak 10 offers steep runs and challenging moguls. Peak 9 is best for beginners. Situated in the heart of the resort, Peak 8 is packed with trails for all levels. Intermediate skiers will feel at home on Peak 7’s blue runs, while those seeking an above-treeline experience will get their thrills on Peak 6. What is making Breckenridge special? There are Ski and Snowboard School for Children and Adult lessons or you can choose whether private, specialty, and breck lessons or programs. All of the lessons are based on your age and genders.

Conclusion
Both Keystone and Breckenridge offer a wide range of terrain for beginners to advanced skiers, but Breckenridge has a whole town at its base while Keystone does not although there is less of crowded there. And the real difference is, Keystone has night skiing. Breckenridge has a night scene.
