About the Blizzard Beach
Blizzard Beach is one of Disney’s water theme parks that is located at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It ranked as the third most visited water park in the world in 2016. It is open all year round except for an annual maintenance closure which usually takes place in either fall or winter. The majority of the water park is hosted on the top of Mount Gushmore, an artificial hill that has three colored slopes, which are Green Slope, Purple Slope, and Red Slope, to help the visitors navigate around. There are various attractions, food and beverage shops, and merchandise stores.

Attractiveness and Atmosphere
If you are going with children, you want to make sure that the destination you choose will give much fun to your children. In general, children seem to love Blizzard Beach more than Aquatica. After all, the theme is very captivating: a melting ski resort in a sub-tropical paradise! The attractions are very interesting, and the ice cave in Cross Country Creek even has melting snow.

However, Blizzard Beach’s rides are generally steeper, so you want to be a little bit more careful when visiting with children. It also doesn’t have a good wave pool for a cool-off place.

On the other hand, Aquatica can be your choice if you want to see dolphins and tortoises. There is the Dolphin Plunge ride, which is a tubular slide through which you will move through the aquarium that holds the dolphins. Most of the slides aren’t very steep, there’s plenty of seating, and there’s a big wave pool.

Shades and Foods
Blizzard Beach seems to have more shades. But you may need to get there early on to get the best spot. Aquatica does not have as many shades. Some people think that Blizzard Beach also has better foods than Aquatica.

Conclusion
If you are going with children, you should choose Blizzard Beach. After all, it is a Disney theme park. The attractions are very interesting. You will also enjoy the place because there are more shades and the foods are great. However, you can choose Aquatica if you want to see the animals or if you prefer not-too-steep slides and wave pools.
